Seal denies sexual battery claims after actress alleges singer groped her at his LA home

Seal has strongly denied an allegation of sexual battery made against him by a former neighbour, who claims the singer groped her at his LA home.

Actress Tracey Birdsall alleges that Seal lunged at her as they chatted in the kitchen of his Los Angeles house back in 2016.

A representative for Seal told TMZ - who obtained the story – that “Seal vehemently denies the recent allegations made against him by a former neighbour for alleged misconduct more than a year ago.

“He intends to vigorously defend himself against these false allegations.”

She told the publication that the Kiss From A Rose singer tried to kiss her as she shouted “what are you doing?”, with him replying “I’m kissing you!”

Birdsall alleges that Seal then “belittled what she was wearing” – a tank top and shorts - and began to grope her breasts. She alleges that he insinuated she was “asking for it”.

The actress claims that Seal then asked her to sit down with him on the couch and groped her again before she left and didn’t see him again.

Birdsall claims Seal’s public encouragement of women to open up about sexual misconduct in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein and Hollywood accusations prompted her to go to the police.

An insider told TMZ that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department did take the report and are investigating the incident.
