Seann Walsh’s girlfriend has dumped him and revealed she's "taken their cat with her" after photos emerged of him kissing his Strictly partner Katya Jones.

Actress Rebecca Humphries, who has been dating Walsh for five years, said she was "not a victim" in an emotional statement released on Monday night.

The actress also claimed that Walsh had branded her "nuts" and a "psycho" when she told him she thought something was going on between him and his dance partner Jones, who is married to fellow Strictly professional Neil Jones.

Humphries, who was living with her boyfriend in Shepherd's Bush before the pictures emerged, said Walsh made the remarks after he called her at 10pm on her birthday and told her he was going for "one innocent drink" with his dance partner.

She added that she was at home on her own at the time and that she has not received an apology from him. Her fiery statement concluded: "I'm not sorry I took the cat though."

“I am not a victim," she said in the opening line of the statement. "I wasn’t sure whether to respond to events from the past week, but I feel the narrative has missed a couple of crucial elements that I would like to clear up.”

She added: “Those pictures were taken on October 3rd. It was my birthday. I was alone at home when Seann texted at 10pm saying the two of them were going for one innocent drink.

“We spoke and I told him, not for the first time, that his actions over the past three weeks had led me to believe something inappropriate was going on.

“He aggressively, and repeatedly, called me a psycho/nuts/mental. As he has done countless times throughout our relationship when I’ve questioned his inappropriate, hurtful behaviour.”

Humpries went on to say that she wanted to use her voice to appeal to any other woman who has felt “worthless and trapped with a man they love”.

"Believe in yourself and your instincts," she said. "It's more than lying. It's controlling. Tell some very close friends who, if they're anything like my wonderful network, will swoop in and take care of the logistics and you."

She added: “Despite everything, I hope he gets what he wants from this. I’m not sorry I took the cat though.”

Jones and Walsh were photographed kissing in the street following a night out at the Duke of York in Marylebone, central London.

They have both apologised for the photos in public statements.

Jones, 29, who has been married to fellow Strictly dancer Neil Jones since 2013, said it was not a reflection of her marriage.

"I'm so sorry about any offence or hurt I may have caused with my actions," she tweeted.

"I wasn't thinking and it was a one-off mistake after some drinks.
