Search for missing boy, 17, who hasn't been seen for 12 days

Police have launched an urgent appeal to find a 17-year-old boy who hasn't been seen for 12 days. Emmanuel, formerly of Newcastle-under-Lyme, was last seen at around 1.20pm on May 22.

His last confirmed sighting was in Caxton Street, Normanton, Derbyshire. It is believed he may have returned to North Staffordshire.

Now members of the public are being asked to report any sightings immediately. He is described as black, 5ft 7ins, and of stocky build. His hair is understood to be longer than in the image shown and braided.

A Derbyshire Police spokesman said: "We’re concerned for a teenager who was last seen in Normanton last Wednesday. Emmanuel, who is 17, was last seen in Caxton Street at around 1.20pm on 22 May. If you have seen Emmanuel, or know where he may be, please get in touch."

A Staffordshire Police spokesman added: "Can you help our colleagues find Emmanuel? He has links to Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme."
