Search for missing King’s Cross station employee not seen for 7 days

A search is underway to find a woman, who works at King's Cross station, who has not been seen for 7 days. Renee Baafi-Owusu, 26, from Chadwell Heath was last seen by colleagues at around 2pm last Friday (November 22) at King’s Cross station where she works for Network Rail.

There she bought a ticket at and it is thought that she took a train to Stevenage, Hertfordshire. However, it is possible that she has travelled elsewhere. The Met has since launched launched an investigation.

Police have shared an image of Renee travelling to work on Friday morning. She may still be wearing the same black coat, trousers and trainers. She sometimes wears a face mask. Her disappearance is described as out of character, and she has not been reported missing before.

A spokesperson for The Met Police added: !Renee’s mother is concerned for her wellbeing and officers are urging the public, and in particular anyone in the Stevenage area, to contact them if they may have seen Renee."

Anyone who may have seen her is asked to call 101 and quote reference 01/1120083/24. For an immediate sighting dial 999.
