The BBC series, starring Stephen Graham and Vinette Robinson, follows kitchen staff at a swanky London restaurant, Point North, who are pushed to their very limits.
Following on from the 2021 film, viewers are hooked on the new series and are already looking forward to another season. So, will there be one? Here is everything we know about Boiling Point season two.
What is Boiling Point about?
Boiling Point follows on from the 2021 film of the same name, where we meet the kitchen staff of Point North, a posh restaurant in London. In the film, the staff are pushed to their brink during a stressful night in the kitchen and now, the new series follows Carly (Vinette Robinson) as she takes over the establishment and tries to make it a success.
The BBC write, "Picking up six months on from where the film left off, Boiling Point will see Sous Chef Carly (Vinette Robinson) as Head Chef at her own restaurant, with many of the film’s original cast reprising their roles alongside her – including Stephen Graham as Andy and Hannah Walters as Emily."
Will there be a season 2 of Boiling Point?
We don't know yet. A second season of Boiling Point has not been confirmed by the BBC but seeing as the series has just aired, we're keeping our fingers crossed!
Plus, series director Philip Barantini has said that a second season if definitely on the cards. "I would love to do another series," he told Radio Times. "I'm sure that everyone involved would, because there's so much to explore in that world.
"It's an ever-evolving, changing thing – people come and go, menus change. There's always scope to change things around and I would love to explore the characters more. I don't want to completely tie everything up in a bow, because that’s not what I'm about, but… it would be lovely."

One character we don't expect to see again is Billy, played by Taz Skylar. He is now one of the main characters in Netflix's hit One Piece (which has been renewed for season two!), so we doubt we'll be seeing much more of the bartender.
