Seattle Pizza Restaurant Employee Assaulted During 'Terrifying' Robbery

Police in King County, Washington, are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who assaulted an employee while robbing Southside Pizza and Gelato in White Center, Seattle.

The King County Sheriff’s Office said a man entered the back door of the pizza place and walked into an office where an employee, named by local media as Brittany Brophy, was counting money.

Video shows the suspect assault Brophy while trying to take a bag of money, before escaping the premises on foot.

Deputies who responded to the 911 call were unable to locate the man.

The King County Sheriff’s Office described the suspect as black, over six feet in height, wearing a black winter hat, black sweatshirt, black pants and black Nike sandals.
