Second alert issued after thefts from vehicles in four key Stroud roads

A SECOND alert has been issued after there were thefts from vehicles in key Stroud roads.

Last week police sent out an alert after a number of thefts from motor vehicles were reported in Stroud over the past few days.

Yesterday, January 24, police sent out a second alert following various thefts across the town, with details of what was taken.

A passenger's door was opened and a purse taken from the glove box in a car in Valley View Road.

This took place at around 8am on Tuesday, January 17.

Anyone with information should call 101 and quote incident number 0099 and crime number 02352/23.

In Parliament Street  a passenger's front door was forced with a purse and a torch taken.

Anyone with information should call 101 and quote incident number 0154 and crime number 02370/23 for the incident which took on Monday, January 16 between 7.15pm and 9pm.

At Middle Street money and sunglasses were taken at 1am on Thursday, January 19.

Call 101 quoting incident number 0095 and crime number 02675/23.

No damaged caused to vehicle.

Finally, overnight on Tuesday, January 24 at Bisley Old Road money was taken from a vehicle which was parked on the road.
