The first body was discovered on Friday morning near to where the sisters had last been seen when they disappeared on January 7, with Henrietta's family informed.

The discovery came just days after police announced their searches of the River Dee had been ended after three weeks, with a major operation having been ongoing in the area.

Now, Eliza's family has been informed, with her body discovered near to the bridge they were last seen crossing when they vanished on January 7.

They had sent a text message to their landlord at 2.12am informing them that they would not be returning to their city centre flat shortly before they disappeared.

The landlord had raised the alarm with police, prompting extensive searches of the area where they were last seen.

Police later revealed the sisters, from Hungary and part of a set of triplets, had visited the bridge some 12 hours before they vanished on January 7.
