A NEW secure dog field where pet owners can safely let their dogs off the lead has been launched.

Cob House Country Park, off the B4204, near Martley, has announced a new secure dog field is now available to hire.

The field is secure giving owners the freedom to let the dogs off the lead without fears of getting lost.

In a statement on social media the park owners said: "Our camping field (which is fully fenced) is now available to hire for off the lead dog walking, training or just somewhere for you to have a hot drink and let the dog run wild."

The statement said dogs were also free to go into the Mayfly Cafe which is on the site.

"We have a doggy breakfast and puppacino on the menu as well as "doggy" ice cream," the statement added.

Slots are available to book either as £8 for 45 minutes, or £10 an hour.
