Billie Lourd wed longtime boyfriend Austen Rydell Cabo San Lucas, which was glamorous to say the least.
The Booksmart star walked down the aisle in a fairytale-style off-the-shoulder gown - a custom design from Rodarte's Kate and Laura Mulleavy.
And there was a special meaning behind her choice of wedding dress and accessories, as well as the ceremony itself.
Detailing the thought that went behind all of the details of her big day, Lourd told American Vogue that they were an ode to her late mum, Carrie Fisher.
Referring to the Star Wars legend, Lourd said: 'I discovered Kate and Laura after they interviewed my mum for an article in 2014 and immediately fell in love.
'So when I started thinking about who I wanted to design my wedding dress, they were the first people who came to mind. I have always been a massive fan of their work and thought their elegant, ethereal, unique style was a perfect fit for my—kind of—elegant, ethereal, unique personality. I also felt a strong connection to them because of their connection to my mum and because they are California gals just like me!'
Speaking of how the gown she wore resonated with her personally, she went on to say: 'The underlayer of my personality is also made of sequins, so it just felt right.'
Other odes to her mum came in the form of her engagement ring that came with the same diamond Bryan Lourd proposed to Fisher with. It was her 'something blue'. As well, another ring her mum gave to her close friend was her 'something borrowed'.
Let's not forget the meaning behind her wedding shoes.
'My dad was walking around town shopping and came upon the store and found the perfect shoe,' she recalled.
'They reminded him of the shoes my mum used to wear in the '90s.'
