Jon Bernthal has been spied shooting scenes in New York for Netflix's upcoming series of Marvel's The Punisher and we're loving his outfits.
The Walking Dead's Bernthal made his debut as unhinged vigilante Frank Castle/The Punisher in season two of Daredevil and is obviously reprising his role for the solo series.
Filming began on The Punisher on October 3, 2016 in Brooklyn, New York – with early shots emerging of Bernthal showing off a newly unkempt look.
The new series is heading to Netflix in late 2017, with a number of TV's biggest names rounding off its cast.
Jason R Moore has been cast as Curtis Hoyle, a friend of Castle and one of the few people who knows he's still alive, while Michael Nathanson and Amber Rose Revah are starring as Homeland Security agents Sam Stein and Dinah Madani, respectively.
Deborah Ann Woll stars as Karen Page, the lawyer who formed a connection with Castle while working on his case, with Westworld's Ben Barnes cast as Billy Russo, a private military contractor and Castle's best friend from when he served in Special Forces.
Ebon Moss-Bachrach (the delightful Desi from Girls) will play Micro, a former NSA analyst who assists Castle, with Jaime Ray Newman cast as his wife Sarah Lieberman.
Hannibal writer/producer Steve Lightfoot will be calling the shots as showrunner and he'll also write the first two episodes of Marvel's sixth collaboration with Netflix.
