Katherine Jenkins has been committed to lifting her fans' spirits with regular lockdown livestream concerts, and now she's brought a smile to their faces again with an adorable interruption from her daughter.

Every two weeks during lockdown, classical singer Jenkins has been streaming concerts from her home over Facebook to make up for the live shows she had to cancel because of the coronavirus pandemic.

And in Saturday night's concert, her five-year-old daughter Aaliyah decided to join in the performance by rushing in front of the camera to dance along to her mum's singing.

Jenkins was performing Gloria Gaynor song I Will Survive, which she billed as a "lockdown anthem", for the last song which she always calls Kath's Karaoke when Aaliyah ran in and began dancing to the music.

Dressed for the occasion in a pink tutu and white opera-style mask, she later carried in her two-year-old brother Xander who was wearing a raccoon mask.

Off camera, Jenkins' husband Andrew Levitas could be heard also singing along to the show's closing number.

The singer thanked her fans for watching, saying: "Thank you all so much for keeping me company and the family, we love you all very, very much, my lockdown lovelies."

Jenkins has spent lots of time offering her singing services to fans over the last year - as well as her Facebook livestreams, she also performed a special concert for care home residents last summer.

It came after a request from care home resident Audrey Grogan, who was celebrating her 109th birthday in the same week as the siner's birthday, and Jenkins streamed the show to a number of homes from her garden.

Fans hoping to see Jenkins perform in person could get the opportunity from this summer, when her cancelled and postponed shows are due to restart, although some dates will still not be going ahead.
