The official cast for I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2024 has been unveiled, with ten contestants ready to join hosts Ant and Dec down under. Over a span of three weeks, they'll tackle various challenges and sleep beneath the stars until this year's Jungle Monarch is announced.

Notably missing from the initial roster are ex-Love Island celebrity Maura Higgins and broadcaster Reverend Richard Coles, who are anticipated to make late entrances. The celebrities have expressed their aspirations and apprehensions ahead of their Australian journey.

This year, the show will kick off with a makeover, as the iconic 'Walk the Plank' opening challenge has been ditched. ITV chiefs intend to shoot some of the introductory scenes at a luxurious ten-bedroom Diamond Head estate valued at £21 million.

Last year's Jungle King, former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson, will be back to co-host an ITV2 spin-off programme. New contestant and Strictly star, Oti Mabuse tells the Mirror, she's thrilled but confesses she's petrified of snakes, while Corrie's Alan Halsall claims he has no fears but is concerned about getting sufficient sleep.

Loose Women's Jane Moore detests cold water and intends to dodge any water trials. NDubz singer Tulisa is nervous about the food, and radio DJ Melvin Odoom worries his snoring might bother the others.

Colleen Rooney has announced she's taking a hiatus from her usual routine, expressing her eagerness to make her family proud. Barry McGuigan, on the other hand, asserts he harbours no fear of rats, while podcaster GK Barry is anticipating a break from social media.

McFly's Danny is gearing up to assume the role of camp chef, and Radio One DJ Danny McCulloch is keen to forge meaningful relationships with his fellow participants.

A total of twelve celebrities are preparing to spend up to three weeks in the camp starting this Sunday night on ITV. In keeping with tradition, two additional stars will join the camp as latecomers on the long-running show.
