Selena Gomez hints at new music on Instagram and Twitter

Popstar Selena Gomez has hinted that she’ll be releasing new music on Instagram and Twitter with cryptic messages that have fans excited.

On Wednesday, she shared a sweet childhood photograph with the caption, “We always go into it blindly.”

Her frequent collaborators Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter commented their praise with emojis. Michaels has been busy on her on tour as she's pursuing a solo career, but she and Tranter co-wrote some of Gomez's biggest hits, including 'Bad Liar,' 'Good For You' and Hands to Myself.'

Later that day, she posted a soundless video of a sign in front of a concert venue that read, “I saw the signs and I ignored it,” tagging music streaming platform Spotify.

Some commenters questioned what it meant while others hypothesized that it means new music is coming. She shared the video to her Instagram story, where she also posted a Times Square billboard that says “Alexa, follow Selena Gomez,” and links to her playlist, which all but promises new music.

Entertainment Tonight also spoke with Gomez’s longtime friend Francia Raisa, who donated her kidney to the popstar in June 2017 as she was suffering from lupus. Raisa said, “I was shaking my a** a lot, I’ll just say that,” about the promised new music.

The popstar's last full album was Revival in 2016. Since then, she's released one-off singles, including 'Wolves' with DJ Marshmello, 'I Can't Get Enough' with Benny Blanco and J Balvin and 'It Ain't Me' with Kygo.
