Selfridges Christmas jobs paying £13.45 you can apply for now in London
Summer might just have ended but Selfridges has already listed a host of temporary roles you can apply for. It's fair to say the West End shop goes all out for the festive season.
Its Christmas shop on the lower ground floor has already been transformed into a winter wonderland complete with spinning trees, moving toy trains, wooden cuckoo clocks, and a snowy model village. The attraction in Oxford Street also has the UK's biggest advent calendar selection, while its a personalisation grotto lets customers create their own bespoke items.

In order to keep the show going, Selfridges is looking to hire applicants for dozens of roles across its operation. These range from duty managers and sales associates, to a concierge manager for VIP customers and a design coordinator.
Below we've listed a number of permanent and temporary jobs that are open to applicants.
Christmas Sales Associate - £13.45 per hour
This role will involve conducting sales, replenishing stock and ensuring high retail standards are maintained on the shop floor. You'll also work with customers to help them find the items they're looking for.
You'll be required to work across multiple departments. Selfridges says the ideal candidate is a great communicator who can solve problems and adapt to business needs.
If you take on the role you'll be required to work three out of four of the 4 key dates which include Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year's Day
Christmas Temp - Waiter Full Time
Selfridges is looking for a waiter to work full time during the Christmas period. The department store gets extremely busy over the festive season as 20,000 customers dine at its cafes and restaurants each week.
Customer service is key to this role, so good communications skills are a must. You'll also need a good knowledge of fresh foods and organic ingredients on sale.

Department Manager
Multiple department manager positions are currently open at Selfridges. The business says the salary for these role are "competitive plus benefits", although that's the only information available.
You'll be responsible for your own department by managing your team giving regular feedback and coaching. Motivating the team the exceed sales targets is also a key focus for applicants.

Concierge Manager
Taking care of VIP customers in a key role of the concierge team - so you'll be in charge of running the operation. A key part of this is overseeing the Selfridges Lounge.
A concierge manager is expected provide exceptional service, ensuring each customer gets a personalized, thoughtful service. Selfridges is looking for people with proven experience in a customer facing luxury or hospitality role.
