COLOMBES, France (AP) _ Sequans Communications SA (SQNS) on Tuesday reported a loss of $10.2 million in its fourth quarter.

The Colombes, France-based company said it had a loss of 11 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, were 10 cents per share.

The chip company posted revenue of $6.1 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $36.9 million, or 39 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $40.3 million.

The company's shares closed at 99 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $1.60.
