Series of evening closures on part of A180 in Grimsby for bridge work
A number of evening closures are being lined up on a section of the A180 in Grimsby as part of work on the ongoing bridges project.
The bearings under Gilbey Road flyover are being replaced and it will need to be shut in both directions on a number of evenings over the next two months.
North East Lincolnshire Council says, though there is a closure window of four hours on each date scheduled - between 8pm and midnight - it is "likely that the work will not take that amount of time".

The confirmed evening bridge closures that are planned are as follows:
Friday, January 17
Monday, January 20
Friday, January 24
Monday, January 27
Friday, February 21
Monday, February 24
Monday, March 3
Wednesday, March 5
Work on the bearings began in November. Replacing them involves specialist machinery being used to jack up the end of the bridge slightly before the bearing is changed and then the bridge is lowered back into place.
The wider A180 bridges project began in February last year. "Vital structural repairs" are taking place on Gilbey Road flyover, Alexandra Dock bridge and Cleethorpe Road flyover to "ensure the main road into Grimsby and Cleethorpes can safely carry traffic in the decades ahead".
