If you thought the first season of Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events was bad, then we have some terrible news for you. And by 'terrible', we of course mean wonderful.
A brand new trailer for the adaptation's upcoming second season has arrived, and Count Olaf is promising a whole load of suitably horrible things.
"It's really going to be quite dreadful," Neil Patrick Harris's Olaf warns us, "I can't wait."
Neither can we.
Complete with obligatory "skull drill", our latest look at A Series of Unfortunate Events teases yet more "cruel whimsy and whimsical cruelty", but this time turned all the way up to 11.
As well as more villainous treachery, more treacherous villains, angry villagers and unwanted elective surgeries (!), there are also more man-eating lions on the way, too.
Oh, and "more violence, fire and despair". Obviously.
And we'd recommend making the most of all that nastiness as much as you can, because Neil Patrick Harris recently confirmed that the Netflix series will end after three seasons.
"We're three seasons all in," he recently explained. "We've intentionally been very truthful and factual and loyal to the books.
"We've added a few characters that aren't in the books, we've added some songs that you probably couldn't put into the books, but for the most part we're sticking to the structure of what already worked."
Now that is very unfortunate news.
The second season of A Series of Unfortunate Events will premiere on Netflix worldwide on March 30.
