'Serious' A47 crash sends four people to hospital
Four people were taken to hospital following a crash on a Cambridgeshire A-road on Wednesday night (November 20). Emergency services, including police and ambulance, were called to the A47 at Thorney Toll.
The incident was first reported at around 8.50pm. The road was shut in both directions while they were on the scene.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: "A47 at Thorney Toll currently closed in both directions due to a serious road traffic collision. Please avoid the area."

A spokesperson for East of England Ambulance Service added: "We were called at 8.52pm yesterday with reports of a collision on the A47, Thorney.
"We sent East Anglian Air Ambulance, the Hazardous Area Response Team, five ambulances, and three ambulance officer vehicles. Four people were taken to Peterborough City Hospital by land ambulance for further care."
