Serious crash between coach and car closes Surrey High Street
A road through the centre of Nutfield remains closed after a serious collision on Thursday, January 30. The A25 (Bletchingley Road) is shut in both directions following a crash involving a coach and a car.
Surrey Police first reported the incident, which happened somewhere between Mid Street and Coopers Hill Road, just after 8.30am. There is no indication of how long it will be until the road re-opens. Motorists have been asked to avoid the area, and a local diversion is in place.
Traffic Monitoring site Inrix first reported that congestion was building in the area, with queues stretching back towards Bletchingley. However, by midday traffic was stated to be coping well.
