Serious crash closes several roads near Basildon, police warn

A serious crash has closed several roads tonight (Tuesday) near Basildon, police have said. The incident was reported at 10.30pm.

The collision took place at Sadlers Farm Roundabout in Bowers Gifford. As a result, roads including the A130 and A13 were affected with some closures.

Essex Police said: "We're at the scene of a serious collision at Sadlers Farm Roundabout in Bowers Gifford, #Basildon. A number of roads, including the A130 and A13, are impacted and there are road closures in place.

"Please avoid the area if you can. Thanks for your understanding."

It is not know if there have been any injuries.
