'Serious crash' at Glasgow Clyde Tunnel as police close major road
A serious crash close to the Clyde Tunnel is causing heavy traffic.
Police have closed the A739 Balshagray Avenue in Glasgow's west end at the Clyde Tunnel following a crash between two vehicles. Police described the crash as 'serious'.
The crash was reported around 1.50pm today (January 14). Balshagray Avenue is closed at Victoria Park Gardens South, with Victoria Park Drive northbound also closed.

Emergency services are in attendance. Police advised motorists to find alternative routes.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Balshagray Avenue at Victoria Park Gardens South is closed, along with Victoria Park Drive northbound from the Clyde Tunnel as emergency services deal with a serious crash involving two vehicles.
"Police were contacted around 1.50pm today and officers remain at the scene. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and find alternatives routes."
