A seriously injured boy had to be airlifted to hospital following a collision with car. Warwickshire Police said that 999 calls were made to Shipston Road in Stratford-upon-Avon.

.They reported a collision between a red Ford and a young boy. The boy, who has not been identified, suffered what has been described as a 'serious' leg injury.

He had to be air lifted to hospital for treatment. Investigations into the collision on July 4 have been ongoing.

Now police are asking the public for help, particularly anyone who was in the area. "If you saw the collision take place, particularly if you have CCTV or dashcam footage, please contact us," said a Warwickshire Police spokesperson.
