Services at a standstill as police incident blocks Cardiff train line
A police incident blocked the main line between Barry and Cardiff Central for a time on Monday morning. National Rail say there is disruption in the area.
Transport for Wales said that British Transport Police were dealing with a vulnerable person near the line so trains were stopped. A spokesman said: "Trains are moving again now but there is some on-going disruption."
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to the line near Barry Docks just after 5am today (11 November) to reports of a person in a precarious position. Officers attended, alongside paramedics. A man has now been taken to a place of safety."

The closure affected lines between Rhymney / Bargoed / Caerphilly and Barry Island, between Rhymney and Bridgend, and also between Cardiff Central and Bridgend.
National Rail, which monitors train services across the UK says: "The police dealing with an incident between Cardiff Central and Barry means that all lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 40 minutes. Disruption is expected until 8am."
Travel monitoring system Inrix said: "Services at a stand on Transport for Wales between Barry Island and Cogan, and between Rhoose Cardiff International Airport and Cogan due to emergency services dealing with an incident."
Just after 7am, National Rail said the that incident has been resolved and services were starting to return to normal but there could be still be cancellations and delays of up to 55 minutes.
Transport for Wales said that passengers could use your tickets for no extra charge on Cardiff Bus services between Cardiff and Barry Island.
