A pub quiz in Bristol is one of our favourite pastimes. After all, there's a huge array of pubs in and around the city to choose from - and some are renowned for their events, with pub quizzes often being the staple of many a pub's event calendar.

Some of Bristol's 'best' quizzes don't even take place in pubs, but rather restaurants, bars and other venues. And many pubs serve up delicious Sunday roasts and other delicious pub grub to entice you back on other days of the week, too.

There's even a pub quiz that takes on other local venues, with the winner taking home the entire combined pot of cash. Now that's something to brag about.

When: Every Sunday

The Inn On The Green hosts a good old fashioned traditional pub quiz every Sunday. Entry to the quiz is £1 per person, with all proceeds going to local charities - pub staff will let you know exactly where your money is going on the night.

The quiz has previously raised funds for the likes of BRACE, Barnardo's, Bristol Play Bus, and more. Questions, pens and paper are all stocked up, and quiz goers are asked to arrive in time for 8pm, to make sure they have a table to base themselves from.

Winners receive a round of drinks to celebrate their success, and every week once the quiz has ended, the Inn On The Green hosts a meat raffle for everyone in the pub - so even if you haven't done so well in the quiz, it's worth sticking around for.
