All seven series of 'the best crime drama ever' available to stream very soon
Homicide: Life on the Street first hit screens back in 1993 and was an instant hit with viewers. The show followed a team of fictional Baltimore detectives as they navigated a number of brutal murders.
Running for 122 episodes, the series came to an end in 1999. Since then, it’s been hailed as one of the best police cop shows of all time.
It featured an impressive cast, including the likes of the late Andre Braugher, Richard Belzer and Melissa Leo and was based on the book Homicide: A Year on the Killing Streets, written by The Wire creator David Simon.
The popular show, which was created by Paul Attanasio, also has many famous faces who make appearances throughout the series, such as Chris Rock, Robin Williams, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Marcia Gay Harden.
