Several Evacuated From Damaged Building After Kharkiv Strike

A Russian rocket hit a five-story residential building in central Kharkiv, Ukraine, on the morning of Tuesday, September 6, damaging the top three floors, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office said.

Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekov said three people had been rescued from the ruins of an apartment building, with work continuing.

According to preliminary data, the missiles were fired from the Belgorod region of Russia, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office said. It said another rocket hit the courtyard of an administrative building.
