Several nights of cold and fog turned Minnesota into a stunning winter wonderland

Several nights of freezing cold temperatures and thick fog may not have been fun but they turned much of Minnesota into a beautifully frosted winter wonderland on Saturday morning, January 7. The stunning scene was filmed in northwestern Minnesota, where most trees, power lines, houses and everything else was covered in the thickest frost the filmer had seen in years. Many trees were seen bending over due to the heavy weight of the snow and ice. The filmer said: "Say what you want about Minnesota in the cold weather but sometimes it gives us spectacular displays like this."
