Several people were missing after a seven-story residential building partially collapsed on Friday afternoon, October 8, in the Georgian port city of Batumi, reports said.
Emergency responders were searching for “10-15” people in the rubble, Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri told reporters.
Video shared by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty shows crews atop the pile of rubble on 26 May Street. RFE reported that 12 apartments had collapsed.
