Severe Storms Bring Hail to Portions of South-Central Texas

Strong to severe storms moved across south-central Texas on Thursday, May 5, bringing hail to some portions of the region.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a hazardous weather outlook for across the Hill Country, from the I-35 corridor to the Coastal Plains, until Thursday night.

As of 8 pm EST, the threat of severe weather in the area had diminished, according to the NWS, however, some isolated storms threatened to produce strong winds and damaging hail.
