Heavy rain caused flooding in Trieste, in northeastern Italy, on Thursday, September 15, according to local news reports.

Video taken by Francesca Benericetti, which she said was taken on Thursday in Trieste, shows torrential rainfall and powerful gusts of wind.

Volunteers helped two families whose homes flooded from the storm, according to regional officials.
