Severe Thunderstorms Lash Northeastern and North-Central Florida

Slow-moving severe thunderstorms brought heavy rain to northeast and north-central Florida on June 14, with reports of hail and high winds.

Footage shared by Jimmy Abel, who said he took it in Palm Coast, Florida, shows one of the storms. The National Weather Service (NWS) had issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the area on the afternoon of June 14, with possible hazards including winds up to 60 mph and penny-sized hail.
