A sex offender has had his curfew lifted by a judge so he can go to the Glastonbury music festival.

Harry Webb, 21, from Swindon, sexually assaulted a woman who had fallen asleep at his home after a night out, while he was under the influence of drink and drugs.

He avoided jail fro the attack but was given an 8pm to 6am curfew by Judge Peter Blair QC at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.

However, after Webb’s lawyer said his client had already paid for a “family outing” to Glastonbury at the end of June, his curfew was lifted from June 21 to June 27.

Webb and his family are said to be regulars at the music festival, which is headlined this year by Adele, Muse and Coldplay.

The woman who Webb assaulted, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told The Sun: “I don’t know what the judge was thinking of but clearly it wasn’t me.

“I feel so let down. What Harry Webb did has changed my life. But he’s just had a slap across the wrist and been allowed to live his life as normal.

“He’ll be swanning around at Glastonbury watching his favourite bands as if nothing has happened. It doesn’t make sense.”

Webb admitted indecently assaulting his victim while she was sleeping and he must now register as a sex offender.

He was given a 12-month suspended prison sentence and a three-month curfew by Judge Blair.
