Yahoo News Sexy Archie revamp Riverdale is coming to Netflix UK
Netflix has picked up sexy Archie revamp Riverdale in the UK and it's starting very soon.
The re-imagining of the classic comic books stars KJ Apa and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody's Cole Sprouse as Archie and Jughead, former friends who have been torn apart by a stunning betrayal.
And fortunately UK viewers don't have to wait long to see The CW's potential new hit as it'll be starting on Netflix on January 27, only a day after its US premiere.
However, it is a one-episode-a-week job, so don't go expecting to see the whole thing straightaway.
Riverdale also stars newcomer Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper and Marisol Nichols as Hermione Lodge, but could it also be welcoming a certain teenage witch in the future?
"Some people don't even know that Sabrina is in the Archie family. There is absolutely a universe where Sabrina pops up in Riverdale or one town over in Greendale," teased executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.
"Certainly, the priority is launching Riverdale and making sure that the show is as good as it can be and as embraced as we want it to be. I'll just tease that Sabrina has potential with a capital P."
Sadly, it wouldn't be Melissa Joan Hart as Sabrina, but it's better than nothing.
Riverdale is being produced by Greg Berlanti, who has already delivered solid gold hits for The CW with Arrow and The Flash.
