Shaggy Reckons ISIS ‘Would Stop Beheading People’ If They Listened To His Music

And the winner of BIZARRE claim of the day goes to Shaggy, who believes that his music is ‘so emotional’, ISIS ‘would stop beheading people’ if they gave it a listen.

Someone get that man an award.

With the ISIS extremist militant group continuing to be a serious threat in Syria, Iraq and surrounding areas, the 46-year-old has come up with a genius plan which he thinks could stop the group in the tracks for good.

That plan? Play him some of his hits, because they would most certainly connect to them emotional.

How else do you connect with ‘Mr Boombastic’, ‘It Wasn’t Me’ and ‘Me Julie’, right?

You couldn’t make this up.

Speaking to the Miami New Times, Shaddy explained: “If you’re able to cut a man’s head off, you’re sick.” (Well, yes, thank you for stating the obvious).

He continued: “But right, music evokes emotion. So if they’re listening to Shaggy music or reggae music, they’re not going to want to cut somebody’s head off.”

“There’re two things you want to do when you listen to reggae: You get somebody pregnant, or you’re f**king high. High people don’t want to kill nothing; they want to love.

“They need to bag some Jamaican weed and distribute it amongst ISIS. I guarantee there won’t be any more wars out there.

“Man, it’ll put them in a vibe. And throw some Bob Marley up in there and there’ll be peace.”

Interestingly, Shaggy (real name Orville Richard Burell), has a military history, having enlisted in the US Marine Corps and worked as a field artillery cannon crewman. Furthermore, he served in the Gulf War.

So there you go. Maybe we can enlist Shaggy’s services to help us decide what to have for dinner tomorrow.
