A shamed comedian known for stints on I'm a Celebrity and Strictly Come Dancing is set to play in a tiny Cornish comedy club. Seann Walsh's career was left in tatters when he appeared on Strictly back in 2018, thanks to being caught on camera kissing his professional partner Katya Jones, who was married to fellow pro Neil Jones at the time.

Seann shot to tabloid fame and his stint on the popular series ended when he was voted out on week six.

Now, he's set to perform at the 177-seater Acorn in Penzance as part of Penzance Comedy Club. The rest of the February 5 line-up appearing alongside Seann - known also for appearances on panel shows Mock the Week and 8 Out of 10 Cats - is yet to be confirmed.

"SOLD OUT! Get ready for an unforgettable night of laughter headlined by none other than Seann Walsh!

"As seen on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats, and Strictly Come Dancing, Seann Walsh is one of the UK’s most celebrated comedians. Known for his high-energy performances and razor-sharp observational humour, Seann is guaranteed to have you in stitches from start to finish.

"Joining Seann will be a stellar line-up of comedians, carefully selected to make this a night to remember. Expect big laughs, sharp wit, and an electric atmosphere in the heart of Penzance."

Seann returned to major primetime telly four years after Strictly, when he took part in 2022's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! on ITV. It was the first series to be filmed back in New South Wales in Australia following the Covid-19 pandemic.

Seann finished in fifth place behind winner Jill Scott, Owen Warner in second place, Matt Hancock in third place and Mike Tindall in fourth place.
