Shane Warne Giddily Asks Out Carmen Electra In A String Of Gushing Text Messages

He has already confessed to having a crush on the former Baywatch blonde.

And Shane Warne acted like a giddy teenager when he got the chance to text the object of his affections on Thursday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Given access to his phone the ex-cricketer, whose exes include Liz Hurley, brazenly flirted with Carmen and tried to set plans to meet up when he got off the show.

Composing his replies with the help of DJ Havana Brown, Shane wrote after much discussion about not wanting to appear “too keen”: ‘Well hello there, lovely to meet you over the phone! Look forward to catching up xxxx. PS I’m lost in the jungle with the delightful Havana Brown, she says hi & let’s do a dinner for 4 (with Havana’s fiancé) when we escape? X.’

Carmen responded: ‘I’ve heard a lot about you and I’m very flattered about the things you said about me. I love Havana Brown and would love to have a get together with you and Havana – sounds like fun.’

She then added: ‘PS I just spoke to your daughter and she is lovely. XX.’

Shane then replied: ‘Gulp!!!! Thank you for being sweet, she’s adorable x.’

The incident appeared to prompt Shane to wish for a speedy exit from the jungle, as he said: “I wonder how long she is in Australia for? Vote me out! Don’t vote for me!”

Last week Shane described curvy Carmen, 43, who has previously dated Simon Cowell, as his “type” on I’m A Celebrity… saying: “She still looks good, awesome… I follow her on Instagram, that’s my look.

“I always look at her pictures and go, ‘She looks like she will be fun’.”
