Sharon Stone threatened with job loss over vaccine demands

Sharon Stone has revealed she is not going to work on a set unless the entire production staff have been vaccinated.

She has been offered a new role in a television series in Atlanta but is waiting for guarantees regarding vaccinations before committing to it.

In a video as part of her campaign to join the SAG-AFTRA board, the star said: “Will I go to work before everyone on my show is vaccinated? No. No, I won’t. Am I being threatened that I will lose my job? Yes. Yes I am. Will I lose my job if everyone is not vaccinated on my show? Yes.”

Stone is adamant that she will not “work until all of our sets are vaccinated”.

The actor has laid the blame on the Producers Guild of America, saying “they will not guarantee that everyone on our show is vaccinated before I go to work”.

The news comes after Netflix made vaccination mandatory for on-set staff on all its US productions.

Production companies also came to an agreement with industry unions to enforce staff who are at a higher risk of contracting and spreading Covid to get a vaccine.
