Shazam! star Zachary Levi swore live on The One Show forcing host Roman Kemp to apologise.

Appearing on Monday’s (March 5) The One Show to promote the upcoming sequel Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Levi made the mistake as his co-star Dame Helen Mirren sat beside him.

Speaking animatedly about his co-star Mirren as well as his other female co-stars, Lucy Liu and Rachel Zegler, Levi said: "You add to the mix the incredibly beautiful, talented women: Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu and Rachel Zegler, who are the daughters of Atlas, and they are pissed off."

As the interview drew to a close, the pair seemed unaware of the blunder until it was pointed out by host Roman Kemp.

"I just want to apologise for any language that you may have heard a moment ago, certain words mean different things in different sides of the pond," Kemp said, as his co-host Alex Jones laughed.

A puzzled Levi and Mirren looked at each other as they questioned what had been said and Levi quipped: "I can't wait to watch this on the internet."
