‘She completely changed my life’: Daisy Lowe praises new best friend Louise Redknapp for renewing her confidence

Daisy Lowe has said that new “best friend” Louise Redknapp has “completely changed” her life and given her the confidence to pursue her goals.

The British model gushed about her new friend in her Femme podcast, crediting her with helping her turn her life around after they appeared together on last year’s Strictly Come Dancing.

“I don’t use best friend often especially with someone I’ve only known for a year but Louise Redknapp completely changed my life and the two of us became these kind of wonderful confidence boosters for one another,” Lowe said.

“I would never in a million years have the confidence to set up my own business, my own company, my own podcast if it wasn’t for the incredible nurture of one of my best friends.

“We’re like each other’s cheerleaders. For a woman to be so firmly in the sisterhood, and so selfless and so kind, it meant the world.”

Lowe is also credited with helping Redknapp relaunch her career following her appearance on the BBC dancing show.

The former Eternal star is currently appearing on stage in a new production of Cabaret and is back in the recording studio.

Last week Redknapp confirmed that she was now living apart from husband Jamie Redknapp after appearing on the show made her revalute her life.

“He’s an amazing man and we’ve had 20 good years together. I know he’s trying to understand that I do need to do this,” she told Stella magazine.

“People might look at me and think I’ve got everything, but a sweeping staircase and designer handbag doesn’t really do it for me.”

Speaking about the future of their relationship she added: “I have no idea what is going to happen, all I know is that I fought for this, it’s taken everything, but this is something I need to do – for me.”
