'She Completely Destroyed Him': George Conway Hits Trump After Debate 'Beatdown'

Conservative attorney George Conway delivered a “brutal” assessment of Donald Trump’s performance at Tuesday night’s debate with Vice President Kamala Harris.

Trump delivered incoherent answers, threw a few tantrums, lied about the 2020 election and launched into a racist rant about debunked reports of immigrants stealing and eating pets.

He also walked right into some of the traps laid by Democratic nominee Harris.

The result was a knockout victory for the vice president ― or, as Conway tweeted on X:

Conway, a longtime Trump critic and part of the “never Trump” movement on the right, also explained one of the reasons why the debate went so poorly for Trump: He spoke.

A lot.

Trump spoke for about five minutes more than Harris overall, and he had more interjections and rebuttals.

And Conway, whose ex-wife, Kellyanne Conway, is a longtime Trump adviser, pointed out that those were the times the former president often got hung up on his own words:
