A Sheffield food hall which opened just four months ago has been crowned the best in the country.

Cambridge Street Collective has been awarded the prestigious national title of Best Food Hall 2024 at the British Street Food Awards. The venue is the UK’s largest purpose-built food hall, showcasing 20 diverse kitchens and four vibrant bars under one roof.

And the city centre eatery wasn’t the only place in the Steel City to receive a mention. Cutlery Works, in Neepsend, which is also managed by Blend, was also among the 16 finalists chosen by the public.

Between Friday, September 13 and Sunday, September 15, the finalists competed against each other at Hackney Bridge in London as they attempted to cook their way into first place. On Sunday, Cambridge Street Collective was announced the winner - earning the esteemed award with less than a year of operation under their belt.

Matt Bigland, founder, and CEO at Blend Family, who operates Cambridge Street Collective, said: “We are honoured to win the Best Food Hall award this year amidst a selection of outstanding food halls. This recognition is a testament to the exceptional array of kitchens we feature at Cambridge Street Collective.
