Sheffield United vs Man City: Prediction, TV channel, live stream, H2H, team news - Premier League preview

Manchester City will look to bounce-back from that late setback at home to Crystal Palace at the weekend but to do so, they’ll need to beat everyone’s second-favourite team in the Premier League tonight.

Sheffield United have been a breath of fresh air this season, and Chris Wilder’s side are sitting pretty in seventh place in the table.

City ran out 2-0 winners at the Etihad Stadium at the end of December, with Sergio Aguero and Kevin de Bruyne on the scoresheet, but only after VAR had controversially ruled out what would have been an opening goal for the Blades.

Who will come out on top on Tuesday night?

Date: Tuesday, January 21, 2020

Man City team news (from James Robson)

John Stones is an injury doubt, which could see Aymeric Laporte brought back ahead of time.

Stones was complaining about a sore leg after Saturday’s game against Crystal Palace.

The England international has only just returned from a month-long lay off with a hamstring injury and will be assessed ahead of the trip to Bramall Lane on Tuesday.

Laporte, who is nearing a comeback from knee ligament damage, had targeted Saturday’s FA Cup fourth round against Fulham for his first action after five months on the side-lines

But Guardiola is considering including him against Chris Wilder’s high-flying side. Benjamin Mendy is also a fitness doubt.

Raheem Sterling could also be handed a timely rest following a busy festive schedule and with the return of the Champions League on the horizon.

Man City predicted line-up:(4-3-3): Ederson; Walker, Otamendi, Fernandinho, Angelino; De Bruyne, Rodri, Gundogan; Bernardo, Aguero, Mahrez
