Ann Cleeves is the author behind a number of detective drama TV adaptations, including Vera and the forthcoming The Long Call, and tonight her BBC series Shetland returns.
Douglas Henshall is back in the lead role as the detective serving remote corners of the island, although in the opening episode he also has family dramas of his own to contend with.

This sixth season was filmed back-to-back with a seventh, so expect more picturesque crime episodes on the horizon.
Beverley and Jordan: Destination Wedding - ITV - 8pm
Beverley Callard and Jordan North became unlikely BFFs when they met on last year's I'm A Celebrity.
Now, Corrie legend Callard has decided to renew her wedding vows to the infamous Jon and plans to do so in Spain, taking North along to help her scope out the plans.
In tonight's episode they head to northern Spain to choose the best wine for toasting the happy couple.
Four Hours at the Capitol - BBC Two - 9pm
Earlier this year, the Capitol saw unprecedented scenes as a group of Donald Trump supporters stormed the building in Washington DC in the hope of overturning the presidential election result.
Over four terrifying hours, they burst through security barriers and even fired shots as the guards struggled to regain control.
