Shocking Pictures As Matador Lorenzo Sanchez Thrown In The Air And Gored By Bull

These shocking images show the terrifying moment a matador was thrown in the air and gored by a bull.

Matador Lorenzo Sanchez was in the middle of a bull fight in the Las Ventas bullring in Madrid on Sunday when the bull turned the tables.

The matador was about to finish off the fight by killing the animal with his sword, but the bull had other ideas, charging at him when he turned his back and tossing him into the air.

The bull drove its horns into the bullfighter’s neck, chest and leg and pinned him to the ground. When the animal moved away, other bullfighters rushed to Sanchez and lifted him to safety, his face covered in blood.

It has been reported that he was taken to hospital but has already been discharged.
