This is the shocking trail of destruction left when a motorist lost control of a £10,000 BMW car and crashed it through a garden wall.

The driver of a black BMW destroyed the wall and narrowly missed ploughing into a home on Church Street, in Woodhurst, Cambs.,

The driver had also hit a lamppost before smashing into the wall at around 9pm on Sunday (10/3) evening.

Police said the driver suffered minor injuries and no arrests have been made.

This image released by Cambridge and Fire Rescue shows the BMW with a crumpled bonnet sitting among the debris from the incident.

Cambridgeshire Police said the driver sustained minor injuries in the crash and no arrests had been made in connection with the incident.

A police spokesman said: “We were called at about 9.05pm yesterday (March 10) to reports of a black BMW crashing into a lamppost and garden wall in Church Street, Woodhurst.

“Minor injuries were reported and fire services also attended.”
