Shocking footage released by the Washington County Sheriff's Office shows the moment a murder suspect escaped a courtroom.

Edi Villalobos, 28, made a run for it after he was unshackled during jury selection in Oregon.

He was set to be on trial on suspicion of the second-degree murder of Artemio Guzman-Olvera, 33, among other charges.

This video shows Villalobos jumping over a chair and running outside the building, sending officers scrambling after him.

After a two-hour manhunt, he was found hiding under a blanket in a cupboard after breaking into an apartment.
