House of Cards was not impacted by an active shooter situation playing out near its Joppa, Maryland set on Wednesday (October 18).

The FBI has named 37-year-old Radee Labeeb Prince as a suspect in a shooting at the Advanced Granite Solutions office in Harford County that left three co-workers dead. A manhunt is currently underway.

House of Cards executive producer Dana Brunetti confirmed that the shooting had taken place near the Netflix political drama's production site, and complained that the media were not covering the issue.

"Shooting near House of Cards set," he vented on Facebook. "I turn on the news to see what is happening, and guess what they're covering? Not the 5 dead and 3 wounded while gunman is still on the loose."

Brunetti then turned his frustration towards CNN: "CNN asked me to come on air the other day to talk about House of Cards and Russia, and today there is an ongoing active shooter near the House of Cards stage and ZERO coverage. They're going nonstop of Sessions and Trump! WTF?!"

Shortly thereafter, Netflix and House of Cards production company Media Rights Capital released a joint statement to The Hollywood Reporter confirming that filming on season six would not be disrupted.

That statement read: "We have been in touch with local authorities and are aware of a shooting situation that happened about a mile away from the House of Cards set. Production on the show has not been impacted."

Federal and local officials were still looking for suspect Radee Labeeb Prince late Wednesday, and pinpointed him for a second shooting that took place in Delaware as well.

House of Cards is in the midst of filming its sixth season, which executive producer Melissa James Gibson recently promised will push the show into "new terrain".
