Newport's Arty Crafty Party Shop will 'pause' from November, its owner has confirmed on social media, promising she will be back.

The brand had recently moved to a new premises on Newport High Street.

However, runnings costs and health problems mean the business will take a break from next month - although services can still be hired-in.

The family-run firm started with glitter/ink tattoos at birthday parties, moving into events.

A shop was opened as a base for activities, like making slime and sand bottles.

Owner Suzie said: "It is with heavy heart that I have to write this post. I have tried my best to find away around this, but I physically can't."

She added: "Unfortunately at the end of October the shop will close.

"No-one could have seen this coming, but we have keep this shop afloat during Covid-19.

"It's just not affordable and on top of that, after just moving, my health took a massive knock.

"This is not the end of us - we are just hitting pause on the shop and will come back in a year, when I'm 100 per cent again.

"You can still hire us like before I'm not giving up all together. Plus you will still see us at events. Thank you all for your support and understanding."
