She said: "If you have a summer holiday planned in Spain, Greece, Italy, France and you're still shopping at Zara, listen up. If you didn't already know, Zara is a Spanish brand, so natrually the prices of things are a lot cheaper there.

"Findings have even shown that in Spain and Greece prices are 31% cheaper than the UK. Other European countries like France and Italy are 21% cheaper. So, if you're a Zara lover, and you don't mind doing a little shopping on holiday, save your purchases."

Since the video was shared, people have been left impressed by the tip, even though it can only be made use of while travelling. Even so, it's good for people to know who are jetting off into the sun.

The video has been liked several times, and people seemed impressed by the trick. One person admitted: "If there's a Zara where we're going, we always try and look early in the holiday."

When he first alerted people to the shopping trick, Martin explained that Zara in Spain is "substantially" cheaper than in the UK. In fact, people can save as much as 25% by shopping there instead of here in the UK.

He opened up about it on the The Martin Lewis podcast for BBC Radio 5 at the time, and it's great advice for anyone thinking of travelling soon. After all, you could really bag some bargains.

To work out the price difference, Martin said you could head to the Zara website, set the location to Spain but keep the language to English. This will allow you to check price comparisons before you head anywhere on holiday.

At the time, he said: "You can just do a cost comparison to the UK. So, if you are planning on going to Spain at some point this summer, take a big suitcase with you and buy all the Zara stuff."

The money saving guru even tried out the hack himself to see if it works, and he uncovered some impressive comparisons. In the UK, a men’s linen suit blazer cost £109 at the time the advice was given, and it came in at €89.95 in Spain.

When you work out the conversions, you'd save over £30 by shopping in Spain. It's worth knowing if you're heading on any winter breaks, or thinking of booking a holiday for the summer.
